A good book!
One of my favorite books this year was The Solitude of Thomas Cave by Georgina Harding. It is a beautifully written book about a man who bets his fellow whalers that he can spend a winter alone on an artic island.
While it is about how he survives in the wild physically, it is a study about how he reflects about his life. I really enjoyed it

Hi My Name is Sherry. I am excited to be learning in this class. I am currently using blogger.com for my library’s blog. I have done some webpage building when I was in school, and I love to surf the internet and see what is out their to learn. I am completely new to things like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and My space. Flikr is also a big mystery to me!
A great read!
I just read a book called The Eyre Affair by Jasper FForde. It was really enjoyable! It had intrigue and excitement mixed in with alot of comedy and absurdity. It has time travel, Shakespeare, Charlotte Bronte, dodo birds and a heroine who is part Laura Croft and part Bridget Jones. Oh, and did I mention the werewolves!
